s' <br />RESOLUTION NO_ ,:!C. <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING JURISDICTION OVER <br />THIRD STREET FROM PINE STREET TO MAZAMA <br />STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF CENTRAL POINT, <br />OREGON, FROM JACKSON COUNTY, OREGON. <br />RECEIVE <br />JAN 1 21981 <br />JACKSON COUNTY DEPT. <br />'USS'.G WO -9.K4 <br />WHEREAS, an agreement was entered into between <br />the governing bodies of Jackson County, Oregon and the City of <br />Central Point, Oregon on June 2, 1964, providing for the improve- <br />ment of Third Street from Pine Street to Mazama Street within the <br />City of Central Point, Oregon, and upon completion of said <br />improvements, for the acceptance of said street by the City of <br />Central Point, relieving Jackson County from any further <br />obligation toward maintenance or improvement of said street, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, all improvements have been completed pursuant <br />to the terms of said agreement, and the Board of County Commissioners <br />by order dated June 9, 1965 has offered to surrender its juris- <br />diction thereof to the City, now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />CENTRAL POINT, OREGON, that pursuant to ORS 373.270 the City <br />by this resolution accepts such order and offer and assumes <br />jurisdiction over Third Street from Pine Street to Mazama Street <br />in the City of Central Point, Oregon. <br />Passed by the Council and signed by me in authentication <br />of its passage this 5 day of <br />ATTEST: <br />City Recorder <br />Page 1 - RESOLUTION NO. o?l( <br />r <br />U✓. <br />
