BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br />STATE OF OREGON, COUNTY OF JACKSON <br />IN THE MATTER OF SURRENDERING <br />JURISDICTION OF THIRD STREET <br />FROM NORTH TENTH TO MAZAMA <br />AND FOURTH STREET FROM OAK TO <br />GRAND, TO THE CITY OF CENTRAL <br />POINT <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the City of Central Point, by and through its <br />Attorney, did by letter dated May 22, 1978, request Jackson <br />County to transfer to the City of Central Point jurisdiction <br />over Third Street from North Tenth to Mazama, and Fourth Street <br />from Oak to Grand, in the City of Central Point, Oregon, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners deems it necessary <br />and expedient to surrender its jurisdiction over the above said <br />roads to the City of Central Point. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that pursuant <br />to O.R.S. 373.270 a Public Hearing be held on the 5r, <br />day of <br />, 1978, in the meeting room of the Board <br />of County Commissioners in the Courthouse at Medford, Oregon, <br />at the hour of 9.`069 A.(4. , for the purpose of considering <br />objections by any person interested, and <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDERED that a copy of this Resolution be <br />published in the Medford Mail Tribune once a week for four <br />consecutive weeks, the date of the first publication to be <br />�v <br />1978. <br />l/ <br />, 1978. <br />DATED at Medford, Oregon this <br />day o .I/iI <br />JACKSON COUNTY <br />BOB.RB``ZF CO7AMISSIONERS : <br />Chairman <br />Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />fir --d <br />
